Recently we've been introducing some free short courses to help you get a taste of what a Tuts+ subscription offers, but without a big investment of time or money.
Our latest web design course is probably the shortest yet, clocking in at just over half an hour. But despite its size, Building Websites With BaseKit is packed with useful information to help you get started with the online website editing tool BaseKit.
What You’ll Learn
BaseKit is an online website editing tool, giving you the ability to add and manage all kinds of content on your website. During this course, BaseKit developer David Darnes will show you how to use the “Twig” templating engine to build your very own BaseKit template, and then you’ll use that to create a fully deployable website.
By the end of this course you’ll have created a website in BaseKit and learned some great techniques to help you use BaseKit in future—and it's so concise that you could watch the whole thing in your lunch break!
